I want to determine if Tivo can solve my problem.
The TV cable access and Internet access points are in an office. The Comcast cable box is in the office connected to a TV set. The Internet modem and router are in the office. The router is connected to a computer and to a powerline plug.
There is no cable outlet in the living area where the large screen smart tv is located. The large screen tv is connected to the Internet over the powerline connection. Works fine for Netflix, ect.
Can I use Tivo to get the TV signal to the living area tv, perhaps using the powerline ethernet connection, a phone coaxial connection, or WIFI. Preferably the eithernet.
Is there a was to change channels of both TV sets using Tivo? For example, it appears to me that the Tivo remote is Nfred, i.e., can't work from a different room.
