I've been transferring files from my Tivo to my computer for years. Mostly using Tivo to Go, but also using KMTTG. I'm currently transferring from a RoamioPro. Today I was unable to transfer any video files-- both KMTTG and Tivo To Go transfer only audio files. The only difference I can see is that the files are smaller on my Tivo than they usually are. I'm thinking that Comcast has finally switched some channels to Mpeg4. Should this make a difference? Will these programs not transfer Mpeg4? I looked at the Tivo diagnostics, and the channels now show H.264 rather than the Mpeg2 they previously showed. Does this mean Mpeg4? I would really appreciate it if someone can help me figure this out. Thanks very much.
