kmttg, pytivo, and mutiple accounts and Media Access Keys, MAK's

With two accounts under my name and two different MAK's.

1. If I download / transfer programs with kmttg or pytivo will I only be able to put .Tivo content back on the respective TiVo that the content was transferred from?

2. If the content is converted to mpeg with kmttg or pytivo will I then be able to put the programs back on either TiVo without a concern for the original MAK?


Back story...

I have a TiVo Roamio Plus at home in one state and another TiVo Roamio Plus at the condo I rent at my work location in another state.

One Roamio Plus is on Bright house and the other on Cox.

Both TiVo's were on the same account and had the same MAK, Medial Access Key. I could look at and stream from both TiVos with the apps on my iPhone and iPad.

In December I added TiVo Mini's to the mix. The Mini connected via Ethernet works well, but the Mini's connected via MoCA constantly lose the ability to see the Roamio Plus (at the same location).

To fix this problem TiVo Tech Support suggested that a second account be created to "separate" the Mini's that were / are in different locations.
