pytivo "push" to Tivo Stream box, why?

I have older Tivo Premiere box recently purchased a separate Tivo stream unit for my Android tablet (Samsung Galaxy Tab) and it works fine.

However, I've recently noticed in Pytivo that the stream (STR B5F0) is also listed as a device I can "push" to.

How would that work as the Stream does not store content locally? What's the benefit?

Please help me understand the purpose. Thank you.
