Desktop Plus not transferring to Roamio Plus

I have Tivo Desktup Plus on a W8.1 machine(Wi-Fi to router) and a Roamio Plus (Ethernet to router).

I place .mpg files (that place nicely in WMP), into the Tivo folder, the files appear on the Roamio in the Desktop Now Playing folder.

In the Roamio, when I Choose the video I want, it says the video will be downloaded when other video have been downloaded. I have no other pending videos, but the new video never downloads.

Any ideas?
