Occasionally get an error from Windows Media Player when attempting to view saved recordings offloaded from Tivos to PC. Displays the following error.
"Windows Media Player cannot play this file. The player might not support the file type or might not support the codec that was used to compres the file."
If I attempt to play the file in Video Redo it locks the program up as well.
The file type should be the same as the others I have saved so that doesn't appear to me as the problem, I'm assuming (perhaps incorrectly ) that the codec would also be identical to other recordings.
