I have 4 Tivos at home, and my cable company just gave me a 4-tuner premiere. However this is on their MAK and not mine, so all of my tivos can see each other but the cable company tivo can see the others but I get an error message when I try to access.
I know I can call the cable company and get this corrected, but there are only 2 ways - add their tivo to my account, or add my tivos to their account.
I am pretty sure how this call is going to go.
The question I have for the group is, if I move my tivos to their account, if I ever cancel the cable company in the future, can I get my tivos transferred back?
What are the hidden downsides that I am not thinking about?
