I'm trying to set up a MacBook for a friend so she can offload files from her TiVo Premiere and load them back at a later time. Taking things off the TiVo is pretty easy with either cTivo or the https web interface, but getting them back is another matter.
I tried an old version of TiVo Desktop Mac (v1.95a), but it appears to be just a preferences dialog. I could never get the video UI enabled, even with the "default write ..." incantation. pyTivo and kmttg are beyond the computer skills of my friend.
Is there any full-fledged Mac application that can get the .tivo files back to the TiVo?
