kmttg error on download

I am using kmttg v1p0i on a Mac with OS 10.8.5.

I successfully connect to my Tivo (Series 2) and the list of recorded shows loads up in the browser.

When I try to download, however, I get the following:

Download failed to file: the actual url is here.mpg
Exit code: 7
opening output file: Permission denied

Any thoughts on where to look for troubleshooting? I am using the java option to download, rather than curl.
